A Prayer from John 1:1-5

Father, thank You that Your plan for the redemption of mankind was sufficient from the beginning of time! Thank You that Jesus was and always has been with You! Thank You that in Him all things were made, because He is the life and the light of men! Thank You that Jesus’ light shines in the darkness! What a God You are to think of it all!

Jesus, thank You for shining Your light into our current dark situations. Thank You that You carry the life and light of men within You! This is how Your sacrifice atoned for our sins – You carried life and light through death on a cross so that we could live with You in glory! May our lives reflect You in all we do and say. Help us to remember that nothing was made without You! Grant us grace to involve You in all our decisions, desires, and relationships. You are the Word we want spoken over our lives. To You be the glory. Amen.
