Weekly Prayer: Prayer from Psalm 23

Lord, You are my Shepherd. Because You lead me, I lack no good thing. 

You lead me to places of rest when I’m tired and overwhelmed. You quiet my spirit and restore my soul. You guide me in what is right, not for my comfort, but for Your name and Your glory.

Even when I walk through dark seasons, shadowy times that feel uncertain or frightening,
I will not fear, because You are with me. You protect me, You correct me, and You keep me on the right path. Your presence is my comfort.

You prepare good things for me, even in difficult times when enemies surround me.
You cover me with Your favor, and You fill my life with more grace than I can contain.

Surely Your goodness and mercy follow me, not just on the easy days, but every day of my life.
And I choose to dwell with You, to remain in Your presence, now and forever.
