WEEKLY PRAYER: KEEP WALKING. KEEP TRUSTING. KEEP CHOOSING GOD.
Scripture:
"Then she left, and went and gleaned in the field after the reapers. And she happened to come to the part of the field belonging to Boaz."
— Ruth 2:3
"The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand."
- Psalm 37: 23-24
Weekly Prayer:
Lord,
As we step into the end of May, with school years wrapping up, routines shifting, and the heat of summer settling in, we come to You with full hearts and sometimes tired spirits.
Some of us are waiting. Waiting for news, for healing, or for something to feel steady again. Some of us are juggling more than we can carry. Others are grieving quietly or wondering if we’re enough.
You saw Ruth, working hard in the fields, choosing faith when everything else said to give up. Help us walk in that kind of quiet strength.
Give us eyes like hers. Eyes that notice the small things You are doing. Eyes that choose loyalty, kindness, and grit over bitterness or comparison.
Bless our homes, our families, our marriages, and our friendships. Be near the single parent, the exhausted worker, the one who feels alone, and the one who’s still waiting on a promise.
You are faithful. You don’t waste a season. Help us walk in that truth this week.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
Closing Thought:
Ruth’s story reminds us that faith is often lived out in the mundane. She didn’t know she was walking into a legacy. She was just showing up. Her obedience, her loyalty, and her kindness opened the door for redemption.
You don’t have to have it all figured out. You don’t need a perfect plan. You just need to keep walking, keep trusting, and keep choosing God in the middle of your ordinary days.
Let this week be about seeing. Seeing His hand in your life. Seeing the people around you with love. Seeing your situation with fresh hope.
Wherever you are, God is not finished. You are not behind. You are not forgotten.
