Weekly Prayer: Prayer from Proverbs 16: 1-3

Lord,

You know the plans I carry in my heart; the things I hope for, the things I am working toward, and even the things I do not quite know how to put into words.

I bring them to You.

Keep my heart close to Yours. Where my motives are mixed, gently make them pure. Where I am holding too tightly to my own way, help me loosen my grip and trust You.

I commit my work to You, the things in front of me today and the things still taking shape. Give me wisdom in my decisions, grace in my words, and peace when I do not yet know the way forward.

Establish what is good and beautiful in the plans I have made, and lovingly redirect what is not meant for me.

More than having everything unfold the way I imagine, I want to walk with You in it.

Let the work of my hands be faithful, my heart be sincere, and my plans rest gently in Yours.
