Weekly Prayer: Prayer from Nehemiah 1:5-7 & 11

Lord God of heaven, 

O great and awesome God.

You keep Your covenant and mercy with those who love You and observe Your commandments. Please let Your ear be attentive and Your eyes open, 

that you may hear the prayer of Your servant, which I pray before You now.

Lord, my ancestors and I have sinned against You by failing to obey Your Word. 

Yet, hear us because we desire to fear Your name.

Let Your servants prosper this day and grant us mercy in the eyes of our leaders.

In your name we pray, Amen!
